My name is Ariadna, and I’m the founder of Ariadne’s — a brand inspired by the ancient myth of Ariadne’s Thread: the red thread that guides the lost soul through the labyrinth, the thread that saves, that binds, that keeps the path to the self alive.

For me, this symbolic thread has become creation itself — an invisible link between my story, every piece I sew, and the person who will wear it. Ariadne’s thread is not just an inspiration — it’s the essence of how I work: intentional, intuitive, meaningful.

Behind the brand, there is just me: Ariadna, born under the sign of Taurus — grounded, patient, with hands that know how to mend and create. But I am also the Minotaur, caught in my own wounds, longing to find my way out of the labyrinth of fear, time, and forgetting. The Ariadne’s logo holds all these faces: a feminine figure inspired by myself, with horns of strength and a labyrinth woven into her hair — a reminder that the journey is always both outward and inward. My creations are not just clothes or accessories — they are threads of connection between identity and transformation, between who we were and who we choose to become.

I work alone in my studio in the Netherlands and create only one-of-a-kind pieces — all handmade, shaped with emotion, identity, and meaning. I don’t follow fast rhythms or fixed collections. My pieces are released monthly, like a slow, honest breath — each carrying its own energy, bound by this invisible red thread that connects past to present, material to symbol, creation to wearer.

Each Ariadne’s piece is born from reclaimed, pre-loved materials — given a new form: forms that hold, that wrap, that tell a story. Every piece is made by hand, with the intention of preserving what was and transforming it into something essential, lasting, and alive.
