Demeter’s Spring draws from the ancient story of Demeter and Persephone, a story of separation, grief, and the return of spring. Its own story began with an unexpected imperfection. While embossing the letter “O”, the leather broke. Rather than conceal it, I chose to transform it. A flower grew from the opening, falling softly across the word Spring. Inspired by the spirit of kintsugi, where imperfections become part of an object’s beauty, this piece was not repaired with gold, but with flowers. Because sometimes, what breaks does not need to be hidden. Sometimes, it simply needs to bloom.
A 19 x 16 x 1 cm one-of-a-kind purse, entirely handmade, featuring a front meticulously embroidered with 2–3 mm beads and a back crafted from genuine leather.
Inspired by Greek mythology, this piece carries its own name and story, transforming from a simple accessory into a true wearable masterpiece.
